The Wichita Wings were an indoor soccer team that played in the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) during the 1994-95 season. The team was based in Wichita, Kansas and played their home games at the Kansas Coliseum.
During the 1994-95 season, the Wings finished with a record of 12 wins and 28 losses, placing them sixth in the seven-team Western Division. The team struggled throughout the season, but did have some standout players, including forward Dale Ervine, who led the team with 48 goals, and midfielder Kim Roentved, who recorded a team-high 38 assists.
The Wichita Wings franchise had a long history in indoor soccer, dating back to the original Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) in the late 1970s. The team played in various indoor soccer leagues throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, but ultimately folded after the 2000-01 season due to financial difficulties.
