Vanna was an American post-hardcore band formed in 2004 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band was known for their aggressive and emotional style of music that blended elements of hardcore punk, metalcore, and post-hardcore.
Vanna released their debut album, "Curses," in 2007, and went on to release several more albums over the course of their career, including "A New Hope" (2009), "And They Came Baring Bones" (2011), "Void" (2014), and "All Hell" (2016). Their music was characterized by heavy breakdowns, screamed and clean vocals, and anthemic choruses.
The band underwent several lineup changes over the years, but some of their most notable members included Chris Preece (vocals), Nick Lambert (guitar), Joel Pastuszak (guitar), Shawn Marquis (bass), and Davey Muise (vocals). The band officially announced their breakup in 2017, after a final tour that celebrated their 13-year career.
Vanna was known for their passionate and energetic live shows, and their music and performances left a lasting impact on the post-hardcore and metalcore scenes.
