Poison is an American rock band that was formed in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania in 1983. The original lineup consisted of Bret Michaels (lead vocals), C.C. DeVille (guitar), Bobby Dall (bass), and Rikki Rockett (drums).
Poison gained commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with a string of hit singles and albums. Their debut album, "Look What the Cat Dragged In", was released in 1986 and featured the hit singles "Talk Dirty to Me" and "I Want Action". Their second album, "Open Up and Say... Ahh!", was released in 1988 and featured the hit singles "Nothin' but a Good Time" and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn".
Throughout the 1990s, Poison continued to release successful albums and singles, including "Flesh & Blood" and "Native Tongue". The band has sold over 45 million records worldwide and continues to tour and perform to this day.
In addition to their music career, Poison has also been involved in several reality television shows. Bret Michaels has appeared on shows such as "Rock of Love" and "Celebrity Apprentice", while the entire band appeared on "The Surreal Life".
