Through this partnership, Mossimo became a Target-exclusive brand, and its products were sold exclusively in Target stores and on the Target website.

The Mossimo brand at Target offered a more affordable and accessible line of clothing, allowing customers to enjoy Mossimo's fashionable designs at a lower price point. The collaboration with Target significantly increased the brand's visibility and reach.

It's worth noting that in recent years, there have been changes in ownership and licensing agreements associated with the Mossimo brand. In 2017, Target ended its partnership with Mossimo, and the brand's licensing rights were acquired by Iconix Brand Group. However, in 2019, Mossimo Giannulli, the brand's founder, and his wife Lori Loughlin faced legal issues related to a college admissions scandal, which impacted the brand's reputation.
