The 1994 Dallas Cowboys season culminated with a Super Bowl victory over the Buffalo Bills, earning the team their fourth Super Bowl win in franchise history. The team, coached by Jimmy Johnson, finished the regular season with a record of 12-4, which was good enough for first place in the NFC East division.
Led by a high-powered offense that included quarterback Troy Aikman, running back Emmitt Smith, and wide receiver Michael Irvin, the Cowboys advanced to the Super Bowl by defeating the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game.
In Super Bowl XXVIII, held on January 30, 1994, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, the Cowboys faced off against the Buffalo Bills for the second consecutive year. The Bills, who had lost the previous year's Super Bowl to the Cowboys, were looking for revenge.
However, the Cowboys were too strong, and behind an MVP performance by running back Emmitt Smith, they defeated the Bills 30-13. Smith rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns, while Aikman threw for 209 yards and a touchdown. The win secured the Cowboys' fourth Super Bowl victory and cemented their status as one of the greatest teams in NFL history.
